We take the safety of our children & staff very seriously .  Before taking the children outside when there are concerns regarding air safety we check the website: AirNow.gov, then we use the chart below to determine whether or not it is safe to go outside.  If the numbers are in the orange or red range we will not take the children outside.  If the numbers are within the green or yellow range, DHS regulations state that weather permitting, children should be taken outside.
